One thing that anyone who knows me in person would tell you is that I’m a massive music fan. Whether it’s punk rock (obviously), classical or even Japanese Pop, I’ll listen to it if I like it. My taste is generally pretty damn wide… But I thought, since this is the personal part of That Marketing Punk, why not share the top 3 of my personal favourite albums of all time? (Just these 3 because there are so damn many that this post would be 100 pages long.)

I mean, I’m sure there are others out there who love music as much as I do, so why not share my recommendations for listening? So, let’s get on with it, shall we?

NOTE: These are in n particular order, for the simple reason that I cannot, for the life of me, decide on a number 1 favourite album.

Seether – Disclaimer II

Now, there are actually two versions of the Disclaimer album by Seether. But personally, I prefer to second one due to the additional songs on it. Featuring the rather well known Broken ft. Amy Lee, as well as the amazing Fade Away and Fine Again tracks, this a great album to listen to when driving. It’s also brilliant for when you’ve hard a bloody horrible day at work!

Here’s one of my favourite songs from the album – the opening song, Gasoline.

It’s a pretty cool, but rather heavy song… But you know, it’s brilliant for waking you up on a Monday morning on the way to work!

Rise Against – Siren Song of the Counter Culture

Next up, we have Rise Against’s album “Siren Song of the Counter Culture,” a delightfully past faced little number that spits in the face of the modern “pop punk” band… Rather than singing about your ex-girlfiend giving you a funny stare in the hallway, Rise Against scream out lyrics about political problems, the way the people of the world treat one another, and actual issues we all face. In fact, if you watch the video below, even their music videos show off this mentality.

So, for those of you how still believe that we can change the world for the better, and that focusing on ourselves isn’t the way, then this album (and all of their other ones) is definitely for you! For now though, I give you “Give It All”.

Alice Cooper – Trash

We’re going a bit further back in time for this one; Alice Cooper’s “Trash”. This one is by far one of my favourite albums ever, despite the fact that I have all of Alice Cooper’s albums! With classics that everyone will know like Poison, to awesome songs like the title track Trash itself, if you like a bit of so-called “classic rock”, you need to pick this one up!

My personal favourite song on the album is Bed of Nails, partially because it’s a fucking amazing song but also because when I saw Cooper live, he fucking hung himself on stage during the song, only to be cut down by his daughter and keep singing! The man is a bloody genius when it comes to theatrics!

That’s All For Now

And there you have it. Those are my top 3 favourite albums of all time! Funnily enough, though… My top 3 favourite songs of all time aren’t on those albums! So, that’s probably a good list post for the future…

But yeah, I highly recommend you guys pick these up! They are great albums, and as long as you liked the music in the videos above, you won’t be disappointed with the albums! What are you top three albums? Let me know in the comment!
