Sorry in advance for this stereotypical “happy parent” post, but I don’t really know a better way to start of the Parenting part of my little blog thing I have here… Anyway, for those of you who follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, you’ll probably have noticed that I have a daughter. If not, here she is!

She’s definitely the most beautiful girl in the world (to quote the late and great Prince), although I may be a tad biased.

Anyway, I just wanted to start this part of the blog by talking about the joys of being a dad. Why? Well, today I had one of the best experiences yet as a father! You see, my daughter has one of those little toys with shapes that you need to fit into the correct hole. However, she prefers to just play with the shapes themselves.

Today, when I was stretched out on the couch, she picked one of them up and crawled over to me before putting into my mouth. Now, those things hurt when are pushed against your teeth, but I just laughed. Then I had an idea.

What a great sight to wake up to. #parenting

And yes, that is the exact toy she has. Anyway, I decided to blow really hard and shoot the toy into the air and then catch it. As it flew out of my mouth, my daughter let out the loudest laugh she has done to date!

So, what did I do? Well, obviously, I did it again. In fact, she actually picked up the shape and put it back in my mouth, before sitting and waiting for me to shoot it up in the air again. And each time I did it, she would laugh so hard!

And that was the moment I decided to add a parenting section to this blog. Because, let me tell you, when people say you don’t know happiness until you have a kid, they’re right! I didn’t truly believe that until the first time I held my daughter…

Anyway, going forward, you can expect various reviews of things like highchairs, toys or various other things, as well as random posts like this one, on top of the Digital Marketing and media posts that I already do. Hope you don’t mind! And if you have any great stories about your own moments with kids, why not let me know in the comments below?
